Family Service Centres (FSC) are neighbourhood-based focal points of family resource which everyone can turn to on any family-related matters. Some of the services available in the Family Service Centres are: individual and family counselling; family life education; before & after school care; youth programmes; children's enrichment classes; information and referral and helpline service.

2. Credit Counselling Singapore:

If you are a debtor who has lost
control over your financial situation, or if you know someone
in that position, you can approach Credit Counselling Singapore (CCS)
for help. CCS is a non-profit organisation committed to help debtors conquer
the problem of having too much unsecured debt (eg. credit card, credit line
and renovation loan). You can call the CCS hotline at

3. The Samaritans of Singapore (24 hours daily)
The Samaritans of Singapore (SOS) hotline 1800-2214444 is available 24 hours every day to anyone who is despairing, distressed or suicidal.
The helpline is manned by a group of trained volunteers who come from diverse backgrounds, occupations, religions, ethnic
groups and ages. They share a common capacity to care and listen to anyone who is going through a difficult time.
All information given by a client is treated as strictly confidential and anyone approaching SOS is free to accept or reject help offered
and to remain anonymous if so desired.
4. One Hope Centre
One Hope Centre is a voluntary welfare organization which seeks to assist members of the public who as a result of gambling are:

facing difficulties managing their finances due to their inability to pay creditors; |

harassed by unlicensed moneylenders due to their inability to meet regular payments; |
| · |
finding difficulties making ends meet due to loss of employment and having to settle for a lesser paying job |
Help includes:

helping clients break
their gambling habit through tailored programmes, for example,
personal and group counselling, psychiatric evaluation
and support groups such as Gamblers Anonymous |

encouraging the restoration
of relationships within the family unit where gambling
and other similar activities have traumatized the family
unit |

providing support for
clients and their families in their distress through the
centre’s helpline, support group meetings and personal
counselling |

assessing clients’ financial position and
providing advice on financial planning , budgeting and financial
protection. |
The organization is manned by a team of volunteers which includes
4 counsellors who received their certification from the US.
