Exclusion By Law

Exclusion by Law applies to individuals who are on any of the following social assistance programmes or schemes prescribed in the Casino Control Act:

  • Receiving any Government financial assistance such as ComCare Long Term (Public Assistance), Medium Term or Short Term Assistance
  • Living in HDB rental flats under Public Rental Scheme
  • Receiving legal aid under the Legal Aid Bureau
  • Receiving Government-funded criminal defence aid from either the Public Defender's Office or under the Criminal Legal Aid Scheme administered by Pro Bono SG
  • Undischarged bankrupt

The Exclusion by Law will remain in force until the individual is no longer on any of the above programmes or schemes.

Enter Casinos for Work

[From 29 May 2026] Individuals who are under Exclusion by Law and are required to enter casinos for work purposes may do so without needing to apply to NCPG. Individuals are encouraged to notify their employers of their exclusion status. They are permitted to enter casinos only through designated employee or vendor entrances and must only engage in defined work activities within the casino premises.
